Your Life Battles Are For A Purpose:

A married woman dressed up one morning & decided to go for a walk. When her husband asked her why she wasn't driving, she told him that she was just led to take a walk. While walking, she saw a homeless woman. She looked at the homeless woman & led her to a snack shop to get something to eat. The homeless woman looked at the rich woman & said "people like you don't understand what we face on the streets but am grateful for your help." The rich woman smiled & remembered a famous quote she saw online & said, "thank God we don't look like what we've been through." The homeless woman started crying & said, "So, there is hope after homelessness?" The woman replied, "Yes, with Jesus, all things are possible." - © Martha I. Iyen 2021

Bible Reading:

Genesis 45:5-9

[5]But don’t be upset, and don’t be angry with yourselves for selling me to this place. It was God who sent me here ahead of you to preserve your lives.

[6]This famine that has ravaged the land for two years will last five more years, and there will be neither plowing nor harvesting.

[7]God has sent me ahead of you to keep you and your families alive and to preserve many survivors.

[8]So it was God who sent me here, not you! And he is the one who made me an adviser to Pharaoh—the manager of his entire palace and the governor of all Egypt.

[9]“Now hurry back to my father and tell him, ‘This is what your son Joseph says: God has made me master over all the land of Egypt. So come down to me immediately!
