ONE of the most beautiful things about the scriptures is that every word from the Bible is useful in every area of life. What ever you may be passing through, just read the Word and the Holy Spirit uses it to do wonders in your life. The gospel is complete. No part of the Bible is less useful especially in the area of life application. For example, one of the stories about Jacob and Esau teaches us to be more careful when we are pressed. Many have sold their birthrights because of hunger. In some under-developed countries(Nigeria for instance), some poor people sell their votes and later regret it. The story of Hannah reminds me of women facing issues of infertility and how holding on to God pays off. Also, remember the story of Joseph in Potiphar's house who ran away from Potiphar's wife when she sedduced him. Teaches young men that they too can run away from sexual advances from adulterous women. ...How you choose to see the scriptures is your choice, but one thing is sure: The Bible is a complete guide for living(Both Old and New Testament). Thank You Jesus for this free Gift.
